Tata Motors Introduces New Indica Vista Drivetech4 in India

Tata Motors has launched an all-new Indica Vista range, the Indica Vista Drivetech4, with a host of new features and a thrilling driving experience, to take the encouraging market response to the company’s new generation car to a new high.

The BS-4 compliant Indica Vista Drivetech4 has a specially designed Eurotech gearbox perfectly mated to the Vista Drivetech4 Quadrajet diesel and Safire petrol engines. It ensures higher torque at low RPMs, minimal vibration, precise gear shifting, longer engine life and cooled exhaust gas recirculation for lower emissions. All these together result in superior handling, exciting zip and a never-before driving experience. The same degree of refinement and driveability is also being offered on BS-3 engines.

The other new features include a 4-spoke tilt-adjustable steering wheel and height-adjustable driver’s seat enabling customised driving positions. The flexible 60:40 flip and fold rear seat lends added space for multiple needs. The fully integrated 2-DIN stereo system with Blue 5 and USB port enhance entertainment and communication convenience. Dual airbags (driver and passenger) and ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) make it one of the safest cars on Indian roads.

The Indica Vista Drivetech4 series, though in the premium B segment, has been competitively priced, starting respectively from Rs.3.57 lakhs for the Safire petrol range and from Rs. 4.4 lakhs for the Quadrajet diesel range (ex-showroom, Delhi).

HTC Legend Android Smartphone in India for Rs. 25990

Nokia Introduces C3, C6 and E5 QWERTY Phones in India

Nokia today launched a newer, improved version of Nokia Messaging with free push email service on all compatible Nokia Symbian devices, exclusively for consumers in India. The service will be available through all leading operators in the country and consumers will only have to pay the basic data download charges. Further, as part of the Nokia Messaging Service (NMS) portfolio, Nokia will also offer free Instant Messaging (IM) services, preloaded on select devices. The company also unveiled the Nokia C3, Nokia C6 and Nokia E5, its new range of QWERTY devices to make email, chat and QWERTY devices available at affordable prices to more consumers in the country.

Nokia’s email solution removes the barriers and prohibitive costs associated with mobile email Nokia Messaging is easy to configure (simply in 3 steps!) with the consumer having to click on the email icon and then enter his email address and password. It ensures easy toggling from one email account to another, without closing the existing email account, and without having to go through the web browser. Supported on more than 33 Symbian device models, it has over 3 million active users in more than 100 countries today.

Nokia Messaging (IM):
Nokia’s Instant Messaging Service enables users to mobilize all of the popular chat clients like Windows Live™ Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger® or Google Talk straight on the Nokia device. The chat client allows users to have multiple conversations across multiple communities at the same time, change their status by community and manage their buddy lists. The IM service will initially be pre-loaded on Nokia E63, E71 and E72 devices.

Nokia C3: The most affordable Messaging device:
The Nokia C3 has been built with social networking in mind as it is the first Series 40 phone with a full QWERTY keyboard, providing this feature at very affordable price points. The Nokia C3 comes with Nokia Messaging, Ovi Mail and Ovi Chat, meaning first time users can set up email and chat accounts straight from the device, without the need for a PC. Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity, a two megapixel camera, rich color screen, and support for up to 8GB memory card. It comes in a variety of colors including golden white, slate grey and hot pink. The Nokia C3 is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2010 at an estimated retail price of 90 EUR, before taxes.

Nokia C6: Convenience of Touch and a full keyboard
The Nokia C6 is a Symbian-based smartphone combining the benefits of a 3.2 inch touch screen with a full slide out QWERTY keyboard. The large screen provides a great Internet experience, as well as offering access to Facebook feeds directly on the homescreen. A full suite of email and social networking capabilities means the Nokia C6 is perfect for people who want to stay up to date while on the go. The Nokia C6 has impressive features including a high quality five megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and Ovi Maps with free lifetime navigation. In addition, the Nokia C6 can be personalized with thousands of apps – whether its games and videos to news aggregators and web services – all available in the Ovi Store. It is expected to be available in the second quarter of 2010 at an estimated price of EUR 220, before taxes.

Nokia E5: Stay connected the way you prefer

Refreshed Versions of Yamaha FZ16 and FZ-S bikes Launched in India

Riding on the grand success of its muscular and hottest-looking FZ16 and FZ-S bikes, India Yamaha is introducing new color schemes and graphics to add more zing to their appeal. Also, the company will communicate both FZ16 and FZ-S under a single style statement – Stylish Macho. The FZ series are very popular amongst youngsters and have been a prized possession of more than 1 lakh happy customers.

In 2009 fiscal, the company sold 85,000 units of FZ16 & FZ-S, contributing to 40% of total sales volume. The new FZ-S will be available in Black Cyber Green, Silver Tech and Sport Electric Blue colors while new FZ16 will come in Lava Red and Midnight Black. The bikes boast of 153cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, single-cylinder high torque engine for active & aggressive city riding. The engine is born out of the quest for the ultimate in intake efficiency, combustion efficiency and minimum horsepower loss. A negative pressure type Φ26mm carburetor with TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) contributes to outstanding engine response. The 5-speed transmission provides a smooth operational touch and the gear ratios provide optimum performance and agility in city riding.

The placement of ‘MidShip Muffler’ is toward the center of the machine to achieve good concentration of mass, exhaust efficiency and handling. Monocross rear suspension ensures agile running performance and handling. The bikes also have “140/60-17” size rear radial with a 60% aspect ratio that contributes to better grip and handling stability.
